Gorgeous walk-in lodge with original buildings, wonderful food and fun personalities. Will stay next time we come through here.
This type of experience is tough to come by in our day and age. The scene at Charit Creek is so rustic, fresh and fun. We had a big group reunion and rented both bunk houses for the weekend and had such an amazing time. Not having to hike in food, water or adult beverages was such an awesome bonus. It felt like we were really camping - but we didn't need to sweat the details. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The food was perfect home-cooking family style. The creek and the fields were perfect venues for all the games we played. The hiking, with the overhangs and arches was simply breath-taking.
What an excellent experience! Great food, clean bathrooms & a hot shower after a long day of hiking. Perfect spot to stay if you want to check out Twin Arches in Big South Fork.
Can't say enough good things about this place. It's like Shangr-La. Every meal was excellent - staff was super friendly - I will definitely be back!
Went here for our annual men's retreat and it was awesome. Great blend of enjoying the outdoors and being able to disconnect and having a bed to sleep in and good food to eat. Kenneth was a great cook and I look forward to going back.
It's camping, so there are bugs and if someone in your bunkhouse snores, then you can hear them. But that's the beauty at the same time. We all need to get a bit dirty and rinse off in a cool stream, we stay up late around the campfire and don't notice the rustling of our bunkmates' sheets, we hoot and holler in the middle of the woods and not worry about the neighbors!
I can't wait to take my other friends and family there. It is worth the trip.
