Worth the trip - a great weekend getaway.
This place is beautiful and really nice staff. Also we had made a mistake in our reservations so they fixed it to what we wanted and upgraded us for no extra charge. Highly recommended!
Nice clean remodeled room with a lake view. Nice dining room and the food is good. Awesome staff , had a small problem with a lamp not working and they were there right away with a new lamp. Front staff was very friendly and helpful. I would most definitely come back. Also, you can not stay at a motel 8 for the price of the room here. Support your neighborhood state parks stay at a lodge :)
The Catfish is their staple entree - always delicious. Dining room view overlooking the lake is awesome.
Food and service are both great.
I have been going to lure Lodge since I was a kid and have taken my kids there. We have always loved it but tonight when my mother and my daughter and son-in-law and my four-year-old granddaughter I was disappointed. It was fish night and the food was okay their catfish is really good but their dessert is so disappointing. I told my granddaughter about being able to use the ice cream machine and make her own ice cream sundae to my surprise two tubs kind of melted ice cream no topping to make a Sunday no whipped cream. Banana pudding was good the cherry cobbler was okay.. and that was all for dessert like I say disappointed.
Nice place. Game room with ping pong, arcade, foosball and billiards. Pool is a little smaller but not bad. Hot tub. Rooms are pretty updated with private patios. Nice lake views. The layout of property is a little weird & spread out but again not terrible. I think they have cabins too.
