Met by staff at front desk with a less than positive attitude. Asked about elevator and they said "no we don't have one". Elevator was less than 200 feet from front desk. Small room (double queen) without either a Refrigerator or Microwave. One overpriced restaurant with buffet. No luggage carts for unloading and parking not close to room. Very nice pool area with small party room attached. Wildlife abundant.
The hearing unit in our room went out. The repairman couldn't fix it. We had a 2year old with us at the time and he just got to sleep, so instead of moving rooms they brought us a portable heating unit. Other than that it was a nice stay.
Had a blast. So much to do and everyone is happy to say hi. Not a bad thing to say. And the cleanest place I've stayed in years! Can't wait to go back and take our kids
Great get away in the mountains!!! View from hotel room was AMAZING and it was incredibly reasonably priced! Not impressed with restaurant though...
We rented a Houseboat (the Admiral) for the week from State Dock. We loved the space of the boat for 11 people and the slide. The lake had very smooth waters and we were able to ski and do other water sports. The staff was friendly however the process for getting and taking the houseboat back was quite difficult. We waited over 30 minutes to get the boat back into the dock, then another hour to do the final inspection and billing. This is a huge part of the docks business and would have expected more staff for a faster process. The lake is amazing and the houseboat experience is a must for all who like water.
